\(\sqrt{r^2 - x^2}\) \(x = r \sin u\) (or \(x = r \cos u\))
\(\sqrt{x^2 - r^2}\) \(x = \frac{r}{\cos u}\)
\(\sqrt{x^2 + r^2}\) \(x = r \tan u\)
